Sammy Gharieni, CEO and founder of the Gharieni Group, will be honored with the “A Life of Beauty” award in 2022. Sammy Gharieni is considered a pioneering visionary who revolutionized the spa and wellness sector with innovative treatment beds. In 2022, Gharieni will celebrate its 30th anniversary. With 30 years of experience, the Gharieni Group is one of the leading international manufacturers of high-quality spa tables, treatment tables and equipment for the spa, wellness, aesthetics, medical and podiatry sectors. The name “Gharieni” stands for a brand that meets the highest quality standards and is active around the globe with several subsidiaries.
With the “A Life of Beauty” award, which is presented at BEAUTY DÜSSELDORF, Messe Düsseldorf honors personalities with special merits in professional cosmetics who are considered driving forces in the industry. The award ceremony will take place on Friday, May 6, 2022, at 11:45 a.m. at the Meeting Point in Hall 10.
Passionate visionary
Sammy Gharieni was born in Tunis to a Tunisian father and a Belgian mother. A scholarship took him to the University of Duisburg in 1981, where he graduated with a degree in electrical engineering. His first professional milestone followed in 1992, when he founded the trading company “Electro-Medical Gharieni”, which manufactured beds for medical treatment, dialysis and plastic surgery. In 2005, Sammy Gharieni recognized enormous potential in the spa and wellness sector and set a trend-setting course in new markets with quality-tested, innovative high-tech wellness and treatment beds. With its diverse functionalities, high-quality materials, exclusive design and, above all, the individual selection of extras, covers and colors, Gharieni has taken beds to a new level. “I am driven by passion and I love what I do – and at the end of the day, that determines the path you take,” says Sammy Gharieni, describing his daily motivation.
Professional concept and global success
The Gharieni Group is now a global player whose products with the “Made in Germany” seal of quality are sold in over 120 countries around the world. The portfolio includes not only wellness, cosmetic and podiatry tables, but also furniture as well as cosmetic and medical equipment and consumables for studios and practices. Of course, the Gharieni Group also had to overcome the challenges of the Covid 19 pandemic. “Despite the initial concern and uncertainty caused by the coronavirus pandemic, we have mastered the last two years well. We have paved the way for the future with new contactless treatment technologies.”
Active networking at national and international level is very important. The Gharieni team recognized early on the need to think outside the box when developing new products.
