The benefits of intermittent vacuum therapy (IVT), or negative pressure body therapy (NPBT), are scientifically and clinically well-documented. The technology behind G-Vac is used by NASA in manned spaceflight to maintain blood circulation in the lower body of astronauts in the absence of gravity.
