Gharieni Welnamis boosts creativity for artist at the Forbes Travel Guide Event

After we participated in the Verified – The Forbes Travel Guide Event in Las Vegas in february, we received a letter from Eric, an artist who was booked by another company to do a live painting at the show. He experienced our Spa equipment for the first time.
This is a true experience, none of our marketing staff put their hands on this text. Thanks a lot to Eric. We really appreciate this!

“To be part of the Verified, the Forbes Travel Guide Luxury Summit was truly an honor. I was hired to represent Woobamboo, an eco-friendly oral care company. Our idea was to create a painted underwater scene with plastic litter that I would transform into a beautiful, pristine environment over the two day summit.

Ideally, I would paint while guests were walking around to experience the different brands recognized by Forbes and everyone would get to see as the painting evolved. During the first day of the summit, I had to actually slow down my pace because guests were still arriving and there was limited interaction.
My fear was that I would finish the painting and no one would know what had transpired, so I only painted the plastic bag in the center into the sea turtle, which would be the focal point of the overall design.

On day two there was much more of a crowd and I was happy to continue working; however, there was a break in the morning for the symposium, which meant all of the guests were away for a presentation. At this time, I still had a significant amount of painting to do, but no audience.

I decided to browse the other FTG brand officials around the room. This is when I found the Gharieni Group.
I enjoy massage therapy so I was open to the experience and it seemed like a great way to relax and get ready for the afternoon.

My first experience was the quartz table. I’ve had many therapeutic massages, but never anything like this. I was literally swaddled in large blanket on a bed of heated quartz granules. It was almost like being tucked in like a young child and the therapist packed the warm granules around my body… it was a completely unique experience.
Once secured, there were a series of meditation tone bells placed on my body to center my breathing and mind.

After this, I was at complete peace and ready to take on the rest of the day, but then I was invited to experience which what I now know is called the Welnamis System. I already felt completely refreshed and renewed, so why not experience another layer of treatment?
The table itself is a contoured recliner with a layer of water pads to relieve any pressure or tension. Then I was fitted with headphones which played soft ocean sounds combined transient melodies. At this point my body was completely relaxed and my mind was blank (which looking back is surprising considering I was in the middle of a huge room of vendors). I allowed my mind to continue to drift, not sleep, but slip away as I listened to the ocean sounds and started to remember where I was and what I was here to do. I started to visualize my underwater painting.
I thought about all of the sea creatures that I had to paint and actually started to feel as if I was in my painting. I know it sounds crazy, but I am a visual artist and a lot of what I picture in my head before it hits the canvas.

I still had a lot of work to do, but as I laid there in the Welnamis transfixed on the ambient waves I was able to clearly focus on each piece of the painting in my mind and see it being completed. When I finished, I opened my eyes and I actually told Andreas (Blum) I was ready to paint. He had no idea what I was talking about, so I invited him over to take a look.

I am a professional and very good at what I do, but this was not an art fair or trade show, this was Forbes Verified Summit. There was an underlying pressure for me to perform at the highest level; to create a flawless painting to represent what we can do as a society when we choose to think about sustainability and how we impact our environment. I don’t know if I could have achieved this as well as I did without the Gharieni experience.”
